Due to the delicate nature of the our
tours. Dream Catcher Charters observes and respects the environmental
guidelines and policies described by the Key West dolphin alliance. These
policies were drawn up to protect marine mammals and their coexistence
with us as a charter operation that observes and interacts with them.
Wild Dolphins that we observe on our
charters are not pets. These mammals live normal healthy lives on their
own just like we do. Interaction with these animals will be done in a way
to respect them and that way of life. Observing behaviors and being
respectful of those behaviors is the way we interact. Dolphins are very
curious creatures and will, at times, come in to our interaction area
while we are swimming or snorkeling. Touching the dolphins or feeding the
dolphins on our charters is strictly prohibited not to mention against
federal law.
At this date, Dream Catcher Dolphin
watch has produced a 95 % interaction ratio. Currently we do not guarantee
that you will see, swim with, or interact with wild dolphins on our
charters although it happens 95% of the time.
On our trips it is not uncommon to see
sharks, large Jew fish, sting rays, and possible manatees. We ask that you
come out on our charters with the full intention of treating these marine
animals with the respect that they deserve as well. This will both enhance
yours and their experience.
Thank You
